Traill International School Celebrate The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee

Traill International students, teachers and office staff celebrated the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in style on Friday. Everyone was dressed for a royal occasion; many in red, white and blue; the school was decked with bunting, flags and balloons, and a beautifully decorated long table groaned under the weight of party food!

Throughout the day the school was involved with a number of royal theme activities in preparation for a whole school “Big Jubilee Lunch” of traditional British Party food.

The celebration began in real style, with the whole of the Primary School performing the official Jubilee Song called “Sing” by Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber and Gary Barlow; a premiere performance in Asia!

Followed by team games on the school field.

Traill International School is one of the oldest British Curriculum Schools in Bangkok and is proud of its roots. Principal Gordon Espley-Jones said “It was a wonderful opportunity to reaffirm our British heritage.”
